Alex Kage is iPlace’s Chief Development Officer reporting to CEO Hank Levine. Alex works with the Indian management team to chart the company’s overall direction and introduce best global business practices. He is responsible for the day-to-day operating activities across all shifts, including revenue and sales growth; expense, cost and margin control; and monthly, quarterly and annual service delivery goals management. He is also responsible for directing short-term and long-term planning and development to support strategic business goals. He has successfully executed several innovative strategies to drive growth and create significant value for each of our clients. Under his management, iPlace consistently achieves year-over-year growth, expanding its employee and client base by 100 percent or more each year.
Alex has nine years of experience in US recruiting, including seven years working as a Senior Recruiter, Team Leader, Recruiting Manager, Director of Recruiting, and VP (Operations). He joined iPlace in 2008 as a Senior Recruiter and in 2015, he was named COO. In 2017, he took over as the Chief Development Officer. He has worked and handled several leading roles in client management, service delivery, operation management, outsourcing, and consulting. He directs, monitors, and appraises the performance of the teams and provides the necessary coordination to best serve our clients. He identifies training needs, initiates development of subordinates, and recommends effective personnel action.
Alex has traveled abroad and has been to the US (mainly – WA, CA, NV, FL, NJ, and NY), the Middle East (Oman and Turkey), and a number of Asian countries. He’s inspired by people and businesses that do preposterous things in spite of obvious flaws. Something about him that most people would find surprising is that he is a Shotokan Karate black belt holder and learned this martial arts form in Muscat, Oman.
