Brian Norris (Devendra Waghmare)

Head of Recruiting

Brian has seven years of experience in international recruiting including four years as a senior recruiter. He began his recruiting career with iPlace in 2010 and now serves as a Head of Special Projects. Brian’s primary focus is in developing and suggesting new business strategies to C-Level Executives and Heads. He also manages client operations for iPlace USA and works directly with new accounts to manage performance and scale operations. In his previous engagements, he was responsible for designing strategies and gamification plans for iPlace Academy, our nine-week intensive training, and mentoring program. Brian is accountable for the day-to-day service delivery for different client accounts. He manages everything from planning, proposal writing, client allocation, and resource allocation, to monitoring service level agreements.

He also works on developing and transforming our recruiting operation process. His teams’ industry focuses span the IT, Non-IT and Scientific domains. He is knowledgeable in technical terminologies and ensures that his team completely understands the requirement to properly evaluate technical skills. The types of positions Brian’s team focuses on includes: Software Development, Java/J2EE .Net, ERP, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAS, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Quality Assurance, Validation, Storage, System Administrators, and Network Administrators, Sales and Business Development. Areas of search expertise include VMS and direct hire accounts.

At iPlace, Brian was awarded Star Recruiter of the Month. Prior to joining iPlace, he worked for Medicare as a Senior Sales Delivery Specialist. Some of the end customers he has worked with were Johnson & Johnson, Deloitte, Raytheon, Cisco, State Clients, Nike, Pfizer, Bank of America, Beckman Colter, BCBS and Ally Financial.

Brian is a Certified Sea Cadet and has undergone naval training. Something about him that most people would find surprising is that he is an excellent singer as well as a good dancer.
