Head of Recruiting
Jake has over four years of experience in international recruiting, client management and employee management. He began his recruiting career with iPlace in 2011 and now serves as a Recruiting Head. Jake is currently responsible for client management, service delivery, operations and employee management for recruiting teams at iPlace. He is also responsible for client induction processes and ensures that every new client is well informed with iPlace’s services and quality. He foresees client concerns and commits to proactively resolve them. He is also responsible for sales, development, and management of new business lines for iPlaceUSA. Jake has also on-boarded, trained and shared his expertise with iPlace Academy graduates.
Jake and his teams have recruited professionals across multiple industries especially IT, Healthcare, Retail, Banking and Financial Services, Oil and Gas domain. His teams typically work on the following positions: Developers / Architects, Enterprise Resource Planning – ERP, Database Administrators / Developers, Project Managers, Business / Systems Analysts, QA’s, System Engineers and Administrators, Network Engineers and Administrators, Support/Help Desk, Technical Writers. Areas of search expertise include niche skills and passive sourcing.
Here, at iPlace, Jake was awarded “Top Performing Manager” four times in a row. His team also had the distinction of being the “Top Performing team” five times in a row. He was also awarded ‘Recruiter of the Month’ twice. Jake and his teams have also worked on many challenging non-VMS accounts and turned them into revenue making accounts. He has advanced knowledge of the following software and tools: VMS portals like Fieldglass, Peoplefluent, Agile1, IQ Navigator, Beeline, ATS’s like CATS, Jobdiva, Bullhorn, and Maxhire, Job boards like Dice, Monster, Careerbuilder, Techfetch, Nettemps, Indeed, and Ladder.
Something about him that most people would find surprising is that he is crazy about shoes. Till date, he owns eighty pairs of shoes.
