Know About Akil


Akil is an expert in re-engineering complex business processes to improve organizational excellence. He leads the strategic initiatives at iPlace, channeling better business models that include implementing methodologies such as OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and The Flywheel Effect (from Jim Collin’s book Good to Great).

In the last 17+ years, Akil has helped many organizations build more efficient and higher quality operations, improved multi-functional processes, and led concept-to-launch projects with tangible financial benefits and mitigating risk. One of his noteworthy projects is a successful business transformation through Quality Management System on an e-Governance project.

Akil is an Associate Company Secretary (ACS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt and is also certified in TRIZ Level 1 from The International TRIZ Association. Akil’s fitness mantra includes a good diet and regular exercise. He enjoys reading and catching up with the latest series on Netflix in his free time. While on a break from the corporate world, Akil likes unwinding with his family and exploring new places.
